Victory, you again?
I had the brilliant idea to start a newsletter and decided to create a substack account (the date as I write this is December 22, 2022). Imagine my surprise when I realised that I’d already created a newsletter a year ago and just left it to rot…
Am I going to do the same again? I hope not. I like to think that I’m not that kind of person, but who knows?
Why substack? Mostly because I need an easy way for people to subscribe to my writings and my website - victorywrights.com felt a little too serious.
That’s my fault, I know, but I’m here now.
What’s this newsletter going to be about? Well… everything. I usually have some pretty random thoughts about some pretty random things. And I know it’s corny for a writer to start a newsletter about random thoughts but, here we are.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy reading this newsletter. I’ll try to add a lesson for every publication, but sometimes the lesson will be that there is no lesson.
I didn’t have a title for this but after writing the previous paragraph, I got the idea to title this newsletter “On life and living”. And perhaps that’s lesson one.
Some of the pieces will come to you after you’ve begun.
